| Smooth Talkers is an institute that provides group and individual English language classes to companies, private students, and children in Santiago, Chile. We are currently seeking native English teachers to work remotely with us who are committed, experienced, and possess a positive attitude towards teaching. Applicants must be available to teach online and reside in North, Central, or South America. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a maximum of 25 hours per week for full-time and 12 hours per week for part-time. However, if you are available for more classes, we welcome you to apply. Responsibilities include teaching adults and children whose first language is not English, managing small group or individual classes, planning and delivering lessons, providing appropriate feedback, and basic administrative tasks such as maintaining attendance records. Salary and benefits The minimum hourly payment for this contract position is $14 USD, and full-time teachers can expect to earn between $900 USD and $1,300 USD per month. Availability is required during Chilean mornings from 8:00 to 10:00am, lunchtime from 1:00 to 3:00pm and evenings: from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Teachers who apply must be able cover at least two out of the three schedules proposed. Ideally from Monday to Friday. Requirements The ideal candidate should be a native speaker, possess a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience and/or certification, have experience teaching online, and have a good internet connection. Other essential qualities include being motivated, reliable, energetic, a good communicator and listener, and possessing a high level of English grammar knowledge.
